I love the dash in the Lacrosse.I think the blue lighting is so cool. I drove the 4cyl. yesterday and found it to be very responsive.

I hear ya...I bought my 2011 a few months ago cause the tranny in my maxima was on its last leg, but I definitely would have waited with the new 2012 coming out big assumption, but assuming lexus does not have production problems, you should see the 2012's in 6-7 months, so not too bad Well if that's the case,i just might wait 6/7 Mos BTW: Will the 2011 get less expensive in 6/7 mos.?

I can't find any as a standard or as an option.

I really don't want to wait 9 to 10 mos. to buy my first Lexus.But if i buy a 2011 now i just might be very PO if the 2012 is much more to my liking.

Does anyone know if the Lexus Body and interior will get any changes in 2012.

It seems around here that the base price for a 2011 350 is 36,000.00. How much can one go below that price?

I drove a 2011 350 and about one hour later drove a 2011 genesis.The Genesis was much more comfortable.

That seems like a very good price. Are you sure it's with synthetic oil? I recently paid $58 for an oil change with dino oil and tire rotation at the dealership. He did say synthetic oil.

The salesman told me it would cost 55.00 for an oil change.They would use synthetic oil. Does that seem average?

I just read that if you have a breakdown to call a toll free number for help. The salesman told me to just press a button on the top panel and speak into a microphone and someone will ask me for my location. He said it was a Lexus take on on star. Is this BS?

Big advantage. The parking assist, (backup & forward sensors) will sound at intervals from approx. 1.4ft. to 2.0ft. These sensors are excellent when you can not see behind or in front of you such as pulling into a parking place. The rear view camera lets you SEE a wide angle view of the area behind the car such as children, toys, other cars, post in parking lots, etc. However the view is wide enough that it distorts the actual distance the car is from objects on the screen. Thats where the parking sensors can protect you from hitting something before you get to close. The combination works very well together. Sounds logical. Thanks

So the only thing i would be missing is the rear camera. BTW: To what advantage is this camera when the car has rear sensors.

Quite true, although I think many of us agree that the lockout feature preventing you from entering data while moving is a drawback. I do like the fact that many other features are integrated in the Nav system such as audio, climate, backup camera and telephone. That alone makes the Nav system worthwhile. Interestingly, I was in the Miami-Ft Lauderdale area last week on business and experienced my share of scary "turn left-keep left" commands on I95 from my Garmin 1490T. Fortunately, I updated the maps less than a month ago, so I didn't miss any turns. I do not own a Lexes as yet and all of this info is very helpful. My question is with the Nav. option you also get integrated audio and climate control.With out Nav.how is the audio and climate controlled?

What comes with this option? I drove the ES350 today and i loved it.The salesman said that Lexus has it's own on star type system where you press a button and speak to get assistance. Does this feature only come with the Nav. System?

I have been checking out the Lexus ES-350 the Buick Lacrosse and the Hyundai Genesis and i mus say the choice has been very difficult.I know most of you will be very bios since this is a Lexus forum. But i just need a very good reason to choose one of these cars.
