  1. My LX470 has been sitting un started for several months. When I went to start it it turns over fine and attempts to start. It then appears to starve out and stops. I changed the fuel filter and nothing changed. Can the fuel pump fail after setting a long time? I put a can of engine mechanic in the gas tank in an attempt to eliminate any water build up in the tank. Could this be a source of the problem? Any Thoughts out there for next attempts?.
  2. I have a 1999 Lexus LX470 which is generating a check engine light showing 4 codes. They are p1305, p1310, 1320, 1340. I began having these errors after I replaced the starter. Thinking that maybe the fact that I did not replace the intake manifold gasket that this might be the problem(Air intake) so I replaced the gasket and nothing changed. I also tried swithching coils from a cylinder that did not misfire to one that did, and put a new plug in one of the failing cylinders and still no change. The misfiring only seems to begin after the engine has warmed up. Not sure where to look next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
