The Top Gear guys were very impressed with the performance. However, they were extremely disappointed with the pricing. According to them, one can get equivalent performance for about 1/3rd the cost of the Lexus.

My ex got the LS430 in our divorce and I've been shopping for a 460 now. With stupid nonsense like this map problem, I no longer want gps in my 460, maybe not even get a 460 at all. Sheesh. When will that madness end? When we buy any item that costs almost $100,000 US it MUST be able to do what *I* want to do with it.

Pull the black box out of the trunk where you put the DVD in. If it says part #86841-50090, then your hardware is from Gen 4. If so, then i'd imagine your dvd is bad. If you'd like, send it to me and I'll see if I can read it in my '06 LS 430.
