  1. Hi Guys, Has anyone run into this before? It sounds just like normal and operates smoothly...it just doesn't hit full extension. It's like the limit switch for the extended position is out of place. I suppose I'll have to tear out the rear seats, package shelf, etc. Any advice is appreciated.
  2. You've come to similar conclusions I have...the switches can be ordered for the 2010-2011 for less than $300 from a couple of Toyota/Lexus part websites. What I havn't been able to determine is if the wheel/airbag, cover or connectors have been changed at all...
  3. Alot of 07-09's suffer from the soft touch controls rubbing through. The 2010 uses hard plastic and is a different design. My canadian 07 came with the poor quality soft touch controls...I'd like to swap in the newer buttons if its possible.
  4. Does anyone know if this can be done? Has anyone tired it or looked at the connections?
  5. I'd be willing to bet there's a pin on the ECU for it. I havn't been able to find a newer service manual...only one from an '07. I bet it'd be as simple as tapping an existing connection off the ECU harness that goes no where, or adding a pin and wire to the connector. If anyone has a newer car and is willing to take a look I bet a ton of people that drive in snow would apperciate it.
  6. I know the newer ES's have this next to the mirror control. I also know that it can be disabled by doing a dance on the break pedals after startup. I've been thinking though, I bet the ECU has the input for it and all that's needed is to connect a switch. Toyota is nitorious for having "features" present but not connected....like cruise control on the Yaris. Has anyone looked into this? Does anyone with a Traction Off button wanna pull some trim and see where its connected?
  7. Are there any common issues on these cars that a used buyer should be aware of? I'm looking at a very late '07 Ultra Lux. Thanks for all your advice!
