  1. I have the Goodyear Assurance ComforTred tires - an earlier version of the ComforTred Touring - on my 2004 RX330 and really like them for both comfort and wear. Had them on a former 2004 Audi A6, too, and liked them there as well. Like them so much that I'm going for my third set on my 2006 LS430 as soon as I can dig up the $$$.
  2. And don't forget the spare tire! We had problem with wife's RX330 and it was the spare tire. Now I won't forget!
  3. So far, so good! My new-to-me 2006 LS430 is averaging about 20 mpg in what I'd call "residential" driving and about 26 on the road. The best run across north Alabama at 60-65 mph yielded 29 mpg. Would like to find some stock 17" wheels to replace the chrome 18" stock wheels I now have. From what I've read, I'd surmise, that 17" wheels & tires would yield a softer ride and better gas mileage. :)
  4. Thanks for the quick reply. Have you noticed any change in fuel efficiency or performance? I see that you are in Chicago. How does your Lexus drive in snow or ice compromised conditions? Thanks again! :)
  5. Dear Fellow Enthusiasts, I recently purchased a 2006 CPO Crystal White on Cashmere LS430 with Nav and ML - and 62,000k on the ODO. Looking forward to seeing to what I can do fuel-efficiency wise. First question that occurs to me is one I'm sure has been covered before but I could not find anything using the search function. What fuel octane grade do you recommend? My most recent "other car" is a 2004 Audi A6 that recommends premium but seems to run just fine on either regular or mid-grade. It has FWD and CVT and has given years and many miles of great service. Also, any other tips for good gas mileage would be most welcomed.
