I own a 2008 Lexus gx470. About 4 months ago I started having problems with the brakes.
Two senarios.
1. The brake pedal pulsates and then goes to the floor, without stopping the vehicle.
2. The brake pedal goes right to the floor and doesen't stop the vehicle.
I have taken the vehicle to the dealer about 5 times. I cannot duplicate this situation. They keep telling me there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. I did tap a car in front of me because I couldn't stop the vehicle
I drive very defensively everytime I get into the vehicle. I will not let anyone else operate the vehicle. I fear for my life everytime I get into the vehicle, not knowing whether or not the brakes will stop the vehicle that day.
My Lexus dealer told me to trade it in. Let someone else get in an accident? Not by my morals.
Has anyone heard of this problem? I don't think I am imaging it.
