I think you got a great price..... reasons: I paid $66,700 for a new LS430 with Ultra Lux and XM sat (no chrome wheels). Sticker as ~$72 plus $1500 retail for XM Sat. I'd think a $10k discount puls chrome wheels is very good. Plus, you still have the full warranty! Good Luck with it. Mark

I'm with American National.... I pay $347/6 months. And since I have my home owners with them, and I have no claims in 3 years, I get a 25% rebate year over year if no claims for the 3 yr period

I just bought a 2004 LS430.... max options... sticky price around $72k.. I also added the XM Sat radio option.... retail = $1500. The dealer didn't have the car I wanted, I got lucky and they found one in shipping (still on the boat) and I took delivery 3 weeks after we made the deal I know it's a 2004 but I got them down to $66,700 plus taxes, title, etc. I'm very pleased. My guess, I could get a 2005 at least splitting the delta, i.e, around $69.5k with the Sat option.... In my $66.7k offer, I gave them $1000 for the radio and $400 for advertise dealer fee. I have not heard anything bad regarding Royal Purple engine oil, but on the other hand... I have not heard that much good either! I've done much research withsupporting documentation on Mobil 1, Redline and Amsoil. I'm going the Amsoil path.

I have a 2004 LS430 with the air ride and hight adjustment system on it. I think the car is way too high. Has anyone adjusted the car hight sentors on each A-arm? I had a MB E500 with the same problem.... Those that thought it was too high adjusted the senors... Anyone do it on the LOC? See attached picture with new wheels.... the tire dia. is the same, but you can see the height /gap between top of tires and wheel well / fender opening. Any help/advise would be good. If I do it, I'll let all know. thanks Mark

The bluetooth in my Moto V600 is always on and it looses connection when restarting the car... I also have the "ffffff" message, so I'm working on getting the firmware upgrade. Mark

I just purchased a 2004 LS430.... built Jul/Aug2004 and picked up Aug 20 two days after being unloaded from the boat...... do I need to be concerned with this recall???? or did my car have the "fix" built in at the factory? Thanks Mark

I change oil a lot. For the LS430, I plan to change at 1000 miles and then on the 5k's there after using a high quality synthetic oil. I'm considering Mobil 1, Amsoil and Redline..... Any input from anyone? Based on all my research, I'm leaning towards Amsoil. Also, one other point, why wouldn't Lexus put synthetic in this car? BMW, MB, etc. does and I can't figure why Lexus wouldn't in a high end car like the LS430 Mark
