  1. Good advice, I'll try that! Anyone else noticed a rather weak air blow from the lower vent under driver's dashboard, or is it just me?
  2. Yes, and yes! The cold air is very easy to notice when blowing warm air from the vents down there. The lower blower also seems quite weak compared to other cars I*ve had. Even if the blower is set to maximum and only to the legs, it's still doesn't seem to get the lower knee area nice and warm as it should... Strange since other vents work nicely.
  3. I noticed a small draft in driver's side knee level in my Rx400h, under the lower instrument panel. I'm not quite sure where the cool air is coming from, but it's quite close the lower air blower. In passanger side everything's nice and warm. I took a photo - you can see the draft is coming just below the lower instrument panel finish, under the knee level airbag. Usually this is not a problem, but now it's below -10 degrees celsius and it's annoying to have cold legs in otherwise a warm car. Anyone had similar issues? I've had the problem since I bought the car three years ago, just didn't bother with it until now..
  4. Thanks for the clarification! I just realized my car propably does not have DRLs as you thought. Here's how the stalk works: AUTO: during the day - all lights off. At night low beam lights turn on. "ON": during day or night, low beam lights are on. "PARKING LIGHTS": at daytime only small parking beams on the high beam reflector "OFF": during day or night, lights are off The high beam do work normally. So if DRLs use the same high beam bulps, they should use only a fraction of the intensity, right? Well, actually the trick to cover the light sensor with some tape works quite well and it might be the easiest solution. But if there is a chance to activate DRLs to save the low beam bulps etc, it would be great! Also I like the light sensor function, which I lose with the tape solution.
  5. Hello community! I recently imported a -07 RX400h from Germany and so far I love the car. There is one problem with the driving lights, though. In Germany (like in US ?) it is not compulsory to use daytime running lights. So the problem for me is that driving lights switch off when driving on bright daylight, when the switch is on "AUTO" position. In my country it is compulsory to use headlights / daytime running lights on daytime as well. Now only solution is to switch on the lights manually each time. I think the AFS system works only on the "AUTO" mode, is it true? So my question - is there anything I can do? The local dealer said they haven't found a solution yet for import cars, which to me sounds strange for such a simple problem. Thanks for any answers!
