Hey guy, when i make a new key, do i have to cut the key and program the transponder first and then add the remote because my key is uncut and when i try to add the remote, it failed (lock cycle 2 time).

Any one here know where is the car key code located? I lost my silver plate on the key, and i need that number to go out and make a new key without asking a dealership. Please reply back, asap. Thank alot
