Hello, Where is the best most economical place "ONLINE" to replace worn interior parts. I have a tan interior and some of the plastic parts such as the plastic covers in the foot area and door jam areas are showing quite a bit of wear. I have looked on EBAY and Park Place Lexus but I do not know the correct names of the items I need. A diagram would be nice, any help is greatly appreciated. Geno Kennedy NC

Hello, Oversized tires for RX 300 (99) are Barely touching shocks on both back tires. where can I get a 3/8" to 1/2" expansion flange to widen back stance of vehicle and give me a little more room between tire and rear shocks. PS I have been riding these tires for 10000 miles and I see some slight scrubbing but not much. I do not want to replace tires since they were so expensive. Thanks Geno K

Hello, I was wandering if anyone new where to get specific parts of a dash kit for a Lexus RX 300 99 model. Most of the folks I have asked will not sell me the individual parts I need, they will only sell an entire kit. I only need parts 2 and 3 of the attached drawing in the walnut finish. I have been batling this one for months I own a 99 RX 300 and have been searching and trying to cut the check engine light out. The code is P0441 and I have done the following: 1. Replaced the Gasket for the Gas Cap 2. Had installed a new Vacuum Switch Valve 3. Had all vacuum hoses re-seated 4. Checked around the Air Filter for loose hoses (did purchase and install an aftermarket Air Filter) would this cause check engine light to come on. 5. I have tried to get some local mechanics to check the charcoal cannister but none seem to know much about it. Each time I drive it I pull the 13A EFI fuse and the Check Engine Light will go out for around 80 - 100 miles and it is back on. I do not want to go to the Lexus Dealer and get hit between the eyes when it seems there is nothing much wrong with my rx. What do I need to do next? My vehicle runs fine and nothing seems to be wrong with it other than that damn light. I have contemplated doing a smoke test to see if there is pinhole leak somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems to be running fine. I was wandering if this diagnostic code maybe effecting gas mileage? It runs great but I am a little dissapointed that the gas mileage is not as good as I initially thought. I am getting somewhere around 18-19 miles to the gallon does that sound about right? I really appreciate your response and you have been a great help with other things also.

I have done the following to try and find the EVAP problem on my 99 RX 300. It is not the gas cap, and it is not the Vacuum Switch Valve. I have replaced both and still have that damn check engine light. I can reset this code by pulling the EFI fuse or disconnecting the bat cable. It usually returns in about 100 miles of driving and again the code is P0446. Is there any cheap way to check for leaks in the vacuum hosing, gas tank, charcoal cannister etc. I have heard of a smoke test is this expensive? Just trying to get that light off it is driving me nuts. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, The Windshield Washer Motor on my 99 lex rx 300 has gone bad. I had the fuses checked and the mechanic said it was definitely the motor. Has anyone experienced this problem? Any solutions? Best places to purchase this part for the money? As always all help is appreciated. Geno K

I went to the links provided and sent two emails requesting a Vacuum Switch Valve Price and a PCV valve price. I put in my VIN # and everything this was two days ago. They did not respond. any ideas or suggestions. I really want to get these parts as cheaply and asap. before X-mas. Geno K

Go to EBAY motors and look up this item #7933252847 email the guy with the name ironman. he sold me a original toyota sensor that fit my lexus. he had more of them I think.

I only needed the bank one to solve my problem. I am sure they want you to buy them both.

Bank 1 is the one before the catalytic converter and underneath the vehicle. The bank 2 sensor is in front of the engine and can be seen from underneath the hood. I am almost certain both sensors are interchangeable. Your problem is the one underneath the vehicle. I am not certain if the sensor underneath the hood is called the bank 2. Geno K

search this forum for the following code P1133 and you will find a wealth of good posts on this topic. I found my bank one on ebay for cheap. Thienn on this board gave me some good information about my P0446 (triggers check engine light to remain on) problem and I want to change out this part befor I replace the Charcoal Cannister in hopes that will solve my problem. You should check out what SKperformance said about the recall first though. ← SKperformance, do you have any more information on this Code problem. I have seen the technical service bulletin on this code problem but the vin numbers it applies to does not cover my vehicle.
