That is really not nessecary...where is a mod when you need one? On that note, I like your car, the only 3 things i would change is the screens in the rear headrests, the spinners (just not a fan bro...not a knock on your character) and the fact that YOU NEED TINT. nice car all the same... :D

Update: Havent bought it yet, Had a family emergency and had to drain savings (well...all but...i never drain it completely) but the individual has agreed to hold the car until after our return from the Joint Readiness training center (JRTC) on 1 nov. its a deployment and we all are going so the car will sit again. It got new brakes, and 2 new tires, an alignment, an oil change and a tranny fluid change on leave. the tires on the rear are still good. new ones on the front are goodyear viva or something...cheapos..LOL

I was goig to deliver my papers...i was in HS at the time. it was a balmy 22 degrees in anchorage alaska. I flipped on the news at 5am and thats what i saw. then it dawned on me...my own mom was supposed to be in a meeting with the bigwigs at Raytheon in tower #1. My heart sank. I called my moms cell phone (no answer...circuts busy) and woke up my dad (who ended up going in as soon as i woke him, he was in the USAF at the time)... just a horrible horrible day. the only thing that made it good was that my mother was 10 blocks away in a cab running late for her meeting...but we didnt find that out until later that day...so for a good part of the day we thought we had lost her. It was that day that sealed the deal on my joining the army.

Well, for the last 9 months i have been trying to get T-mobile to cancel my contract under the military clause, as I moved from one place to another under military orders and as a result have no service at my place of residence (one place was only a mile from the other, so they didnt understand, thats part of what took so long) and waive my early termination fee ($400...$200 per line) well finally today i got on the phone with a representative who was prior military. after getting the runaround for 9 months solid and dodging sales pitch after sales pitch about WiFi phones and Tmobile land lines, he told me that i needed to bring to a retailer or fax one of the following: -a current UTILITY bill (Cable doesnt count) with address matching address in question. -or a drivers liscense with the same. Well 2 problems. 1. Im in the military and DO NOT pay utilities...hell i dont even pay rent. Military has subsidized housing for its soldiers. 2. My liscense is a Texas one...and i definately do not reside there currently... So on an act of good faith he put me through to the Regional Account manager for the Northeast region (After i threatened to sick the United States Army Judge Advocate Group or JAG on them) and he explained the situation. Wouldn't you know it took them 30 seconds for them to put a 48 hr Freeze-to-cancel on my account? it means i have a 48 hr period to switch my service and keep my mobile number. I switched immediately after hanging up the phone with Tmobile. To get on with VZW, all in all it cost me $320 for phones and my first bill will be an Astronomical $200...after than it should drop to $120ish. anyways, i just wanted to say unless you live in a large city or in the south...dont go with tmobile. Verizon Rocks so far!

they wont reuse old ones, i just checked for you, if you have them do your tires, you either have to supply new ones (Still in OE packaging) or buy theirs.

Yeah, i agree there they are the pros LOL. I use Meguairs glass cleaner WHEN I CAN FIND IT, because it doesnt strip the wax of the outside of the glass and is safe for the inside with the tint. otherwise i use stoners invisible glass. it comes in a spray can and i think they have it in wipes as well.

dunno...but the other rear tire is a Michelin Pilot A/S Sport...the other three are bridgestone turnaza EL-400. I think what happened was: Former owner (obviously knew nothing about cars, her name was Laura, but i dont judge based on the name, i judge on what comes next). (I guess) She had a Blowout on front tire in Nevada Heat (car was from Nevada). She replaced with Michelin Pilot (with the advice from her tire salesman, who also regrettably knows nothing about cars/symmetrics/physics), Put front tire and new michelin on rear at the advice of her tire salesman (again...dumbass), and put the matching, less worn (cause they were on the back) turanza's up front. as a result i have 2 turanza's on the front showing wear bars, and one on the back showing cords...and the michelin pilot is almost brand new AND MUCH LOUDER THAN THE POTENZA's. I CANT STAND THAT DAMNED TIRE! LOL. I mean come on, every dumb*BLEEP* knows you cant mix a directional tire with a unidirectional tire (cant mix Goodyear Triple Treads with Comfortreads) and you should NEVER replace just one tire. If it wasnt for the Bridgestones being exhorbiantly more than the Comfortreads and getting crappy ratings in the snow, i might replace them with identical tires...but they are $145 a piece!!! Thats ok tho, the place i bought it from, i got them to knock $1000 off cause of the tires, and a few other minor problems...most of which i already fixed. (except the ding in the door which was one of them. I figured i could live with it till someone hits me, or i can PDR it. LOL)

Its Walmart. LOL. and Steve thats probably because of the valve stems. you get new ones each time right? (yes you do, everyone does) and they include them....well i have 4 brand new ones here in my garage from a friend of mine who bought wheels from discounttiredirect.com (they send new valve stems, then sold the car before he put the wheels on. he sold the wheels and gave me the valve stems. the thing at wal mart says Mounting and Balancing: W/Valve stems $15 per tire, w/o valve stems: $5. you dont need new valve stems each time anyway...i guess its a way to make a few extra dollars off you. I dont mind having them replaced each time though, its cheap insurance.

Its only the one in the back and i will be replacing in less than 30 days. like i said, full size spare if i need to...you are right, i should...and i will if i have to, would just prefer not to drain savings, i finally got to a place where i have a savings LOL.

Gonna see how the comfortreads do for winter...if no good ill pick up a set of Nokian Hakkapalita's or Bridgestone Blizzacks. After comparing the TT's and the CT's for 6 months, i was torn...THE ONLY THING that made me go with the CT's was the fact that i found a set of 2 slightly used (came off a car that was rear ended, rear 2 were punctured, front 2 were 1,000 miles old). I got them for $75 total. My only worry about going with the TT is the road noise factor...even tirerack determined they were MUCH noisier than the CT. And after owning so many Falken ZE-512's, i cannot stand road noise. My only thing about the falkens is i dont feel like replacing every year. and i would be with the FWD civic. the Eagle RS-A's that i had on the matrix (i purchased cause i needed tires at a decent price) were ABSOLUTE *BLEEP*. and i swore i would never buy a goodyear tire again...BUT...i will try the CT's. wouldnt be the first time i have eaten $350 (would have been $600, but i found 2 slightly used). We will see how the FWD w/Trac control does, but i think it will be ok. I just gotta order the other 2 soon. I can see cords on the Bridgestone Turanza EL-400's and they only have 30K on them (Been noisy since i got the car!) Im tryin to milk them another month...my wife has a city commute and never gets over 35-40...so she should be ok. if they get too bad i will throw the spare (has a full size!) on.

hmm...for me its an 04+F150 or a 02+Silverado...nothing less. and I wont be financing, I will be paying cash. Mileage isnt really an issue to me cause as you said, i already have 2 cars so wont need to drive it unless i HAVE to.
