  1. I have a 98 GS400 and I have 20x7.5 wheels on it with 225/35/20 tires on front and 245/35/20 on the back and my power steering is hard when the car is parked and when its moving I flushed the fluid and my tire pressure is 40 psi on front and like 30 on back. What may be the cause of this problem, is it the tire pressure or the difference in tire width, the wheel does not weight that much either. If you have this same model and year, Is it that hard too?
  2. Has anyone ever changed the 98 GS400 Nakamichi stereo with an aftermarket one and kept the factory amp and speakers? I'm asking because I've been searching on how to do it all around the web and no one seems to have a good answer for this question; it's simple, is it possible?, has anyone done it?, if so, how? I'm trying to install a Double din radio and I already bought the mounting kit, what I can't seem to find is the wire harness, does it exist for this model and year?
  3. Thanks man, but this applies even if I don't have a telephone transceiver? Yes, it applies even if you don't have a Lexus phone. Your car was pre-wired at the factory for a Lexus phone. The phone was a dealer installed option with components that plugged into factory pre-wired connectors in the trunk, under the center armrest and on the steering wheel. It played the phone call audio through a door speaker, automatically muted the radio and lowered the HVAC fan speed during a call, etc, etc. Ok thanks again

  5. Can someone post the wiring diagram for a Lexus Gs400 1998 with Nakamichi without nav, thanks
  6. Alright, thanks, I'll take my chances and if I ever want to go back I think I'll just put the factory wires back together.
  7. But it is possible to do it by cutting the factory plug, right?
  8. Is it possible to change that stereo? What will it take?
  9. I recently bought a Double Din stereo on the Internet and I also bought the Double Din mounting kit on ebay, what I can't seem to find is the wiring harness; I looked for it everywhere on the internet and nothing, also people tell me that I shouldn't cut the factory harness because it will damage the whole stereo system, how can I install the new stereo and hook up everything(factory speakers and amp)to it. I have a 1998 GS400 and it has the Nakamichi without Nav.
