I just purchased a 1994 SC400 with 195,000 miles. The vehicle runs wonderfully. However, the previous owner did nothing more than change the oil and not often enough! I do know that she was using synthetic but not sure what brand. All I have gathered so far is to use NGK iridium plugs and oem Toyota wires. I'm just going to put a new basic air filter in until i can get a cold air intake. So, after 140,000 miles of no treatment what measures should I cover to be sure that my new baby has a long healthy life? what brand oil and filter? tranny flush? coil, rotor, etc? radiator flush? pcv valve? fuel filter or filters?

The cruise light turns on and off as it should but does not engage. brakes work fine along with all lights. i read an older post about the same problem but didn't gather much. The only possible solution that seemed like something i would want to tackle was the "brake switch" being "shifted" or something to that effect. It's nice to find solutions on here and I hope to have the same outcome with this problem. I'm mechanically inclined but will not mess with anything unless well informed.
