  1. I had the same problem. You will have to remove the plastic covers behind the steering wheel, there is a plastic wheel, the teeth on that wheel are probably stripped or worn out. In my case, I had to adjust the wheel a little and my problem was solved.
  2. If you want big, go with 20 inch rims, 245/35/20 in the front and 255/35/20 in the rear, you won't have any problems. I have these on my 92' SC400.
  3. I'm using 20x9 rims on my 92' SC400 with 245/35/20 all around with no problems, but I also replaced my upper and lower rubber control arm bushings to Daizen polyurethane bushings.
  4. Odometer wouldn't go pass 155mph in my 92' SC400, straight away in Long Island NY, sunroof didn't want to close due to the force of the wind.
  5. Timing belt, it can be seen if you remove the distributor and rotor cap covers, it's the two black covers located in front of the motor, when removed it makes belt visible.
  6. I felt your pain for about a week also in Tampa, I took my 92' SC400 to the Ice Cold Air shop off the I275 on Sligh Ave., I had the AC system checked for free, I had a slow leak from the low side valve, I was low on freon, which made the compressor still engage, but no cold air. I had the valve replaced, a conversion to 134A freon all done at a reasonable price, no more baking in the Tampa heat.
