  1. Don't limit yourself to just what the tire dealer says you can get. There are actually more choices available if you increase the load rating or increase the ply amount. The tradeoff is slightly decreased ride quality. Go to Tire Rack, and instead of punching in your vehicle type, enter the tire size. I recently replaced the wheels and tires on my LX and purchased BFG TA KO's from Tire Rack. The ride isn't much worse, and now I have a tire that I can use for moderate off road adventures, something this car was made for! The wheels came from LA Wheel and Tire and are chromed factory wheels. Good luck!
  2. After tapping, slapping and nearly hitting everything to try and find something loose, I tried something different. I adjusted the front rail on the roof rack. I moved the drivers side forward a little, and the pass side back a little. I then tightened them up as tight as I could with my hand. The result, no more flapping noises. The rail is no longer adjusted straight, but it is off so little that you can't notice from the ground. And I am no longer irritated.
  3. I will actually be replacing the factory 16" wheels on mine (insane chrome peel) with factory 18" wheels in the spring. Look for a tire size calculator on the internet. You can actually size your tire so the tire diameter is almost identical. As for me, I will be going for the largest I can get without rubbing... not sure what size that is yet.
  4. Recently I have had a noise between the A and C pillars. It sounds like a flapping noise, and I thought it was due to the rear A/C at first, but it doesn't matter if I am running A/C, windows up or down, or what speed I am driving. It does happen only when I am driving, but I can't seem to find where wind would be getting into something, if that is what's happening. Any suggestions?
