My 2000 RX300 has several times gone into neutral for a moment (for no reason) during shifting. I've also used cruise a couple times where the engine would rev up like mad and never shift (even if I let it go for awhile). I had to disengage cruise before the engine would shift. Very strange. I remember reading that the RX transmission "learned" your driving habits and adjusted accordingly (or something like this). So I always attributed these seldom seen anamolies to that. PDS

For future readers... (2000 RX300) I also had this problem and also my DRL didnt work. It was a bad relay in the "fuse block 1" location (there are 3 relays and 1 fuse here). You can troubleshoot by borrowing a good relay from elsewhere. My bad relay was the one closest to the fuse. PDS

For me it paid off. Bought RX300 (2000) new and the Lexus Plat 100k warranty for $1100. I've easily had 3x that amount of work done since, all free. The dealer likes to do service, even if its paid by Lexus. So they were awesome on getting parts/labr covered by Lexus. PDS

Hi... I have this SAME problem on my 2000 RX300. Neither high beam bulbs will light, all fuses good. Did anyone ever solve this? PDS
