  1. My wife has a 99 RX300 and the console lights are out for the better part of the day. Using the switch to brighten the lights does nothing to change it...however the odd thing is that sporadically during the daylight hours it will work for a short period and of course at night with the headlights on it does work more often than not. Has anyone experienced this issue and can you direct me to the root cause. Any and all help is appreciated.
  2. Has anyone replaced the sunroof motor in a RX, if so, any directions/guidance as to how to get to it is appreciated.
  3. A newbie to the club...like what I see and the help/tutoring that is given. My wife is on travel with the car (99 RX300) and the sunroof is stuck in the tilt position and will not close with the push of the button as normal...any thoughts as to what the problem may be? When she returns this evening, I would like to try and resolve.....from my review of forums on this site, could it be as simple as a reset of the sunroof by disconnecting the battery cables that has been described, how would you know? She states that she does hear the motor and that the roof attempts to close and then stops when she pushes the button. Any advice, guidance on this matter is greatly appreciated....pls. help me to stay in goodstanding with the Mrs. and away from the dealer who will send me to the Poor House. Regards,
  4. Bryan, New to the club and saw your offer, hopefully you still have them; if so, please forward me info. -wiring diagrams for the sunroof on a 99 RX300. It is stuck in the tilt position and I am not certain of whether it is the motor/switch or what. Further, do you know if the motor is located in the upper console area near the sunroof control buttons? Thanks much, pls. email to giljamesjr@gmail.com
