    Try doing this first. Leave your car running idle for about 20minutes, if you're not getting the correct throttle pressure-right now. How's your fuel pressure?

    nah, you're definitely looking coolant. look for wet spots in your engine bay and underneath the car, and check your excess-Coolant dump Reservoir.

    this will help, w/o a scan tool. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html I think you've reversed which sensor does what, but i might be wrong, but one of the them is your wheel sensor. The Trac light should have been on, but i guess it could malfunction without indication.

    On my old Infiniti I bought a new mask/teeth cable, and let it catch the motor, but I haven't tried it on my old LS or SC yet. I've just replaced the unit and installed a new one-but the motor was gone so i had to. You could try to open it up, and adjust it, but my solutions are generally to bite the cost and replace the unit, if it's annoying. Oh, I finally came across that Thread you were referring to about the WD40. Wow!!!

    If it jerks as you take it out of Park or Reverse-Drive, then most likely. If you can try to replace them and see if that solves the problem.

    Is this a stock antenna mask or an aftermarket? I know the stock mask will go up an additional 2" and then will drop back. The buzzing or grinding noise might be due timing of when the teeth catch's the sprockets. If you still can, try to remove the mask and install it again. Who gave you this idea of using WD40? Didn't you say it was a new mask?

    It's a little unusual for your car to be running 10mph slower than what a radar picks up. The two sensors on the tranmission housing are the #1 and #2 speed sensors, but my experience is you should have the check-engine light on if either of them are malfunctioning. it almost sounds like your car needs to be recalibrated. Have you by any chance changed your wheels?

    It shouldn't be that hard. Just need a location to mount the second ballast. Yeah, let us know what other problems you come across.

    It almost sounds like the battery terminals need to be cleaned or maybe a new battery in-general. Can you answer a few questions. What are the conditions to where the car is parked over-night? When you say it cranks but won't start, it's clicking or it's attempting to acquire a spark from the battery. Don't really know what the Lex-Techs troubleshoot, but it might be as simple as a tune-up or a new battery.

    How did the engine catch fire? Insurance?

    can't tell you exactly what will solve it, but when I replaced my radio using the stock Amp it was solved.

    Hey Guys: Need your help. Can anyone with a 1997 - 2000 Lexus SC with the OEM HIDs take a picture of their headlight housing, specifically the Back-portion where the bulbs connect to the housing? If you can't would you mind feeling the main projector and tell me if it's metal. Thanks UCF3

    Very Nice, and welcome to the Forum. So give us some more details on the car. Mileage, experience buying, how much, problems.

    There shouldn't be that much of a difference between FLowmaster or JICs/Blitz. They're there for good sound and back-pressure. You could eliminate the Cat all together. that would maximize your bHP.

    is your car sagging or tilting in any direction? What type of bridge are you going over?

    fill-up your gas-can with fuel. 1 gallon should get you to a fueling station.

    it does look good from the small pics you've added. Look for imperfections on the outershell, and then try to poke it from trunk. see if the metal needs to be stronger. a very good job should be very strong in an attempt to use less Bondo. I personally don't like to use that much Bondo so the smaller amount used the better it is.

    don't know, but I think is all about age. I-6 is more of the tuning car for younger people. V8 is more for people who have moved into a profession or family, and would prefer to have power but need to be more relaxed. If you have to make a single car decision, then I would select the SC4. Luckily I don't which is why I have three
