Sapium

Thank you in advance for any help with this - Somehow my navagtion system was set so that it now keeps track of everywhere I drive (by placing dots on the streets I driver over). Unfortunately I drive the same routes often and now my map is full of dots and I'm having difficulty seeing things. I have searched all my manuals and many days on the web but I have failed to find how this is set/removed. Does someone know how this was set and how to undo it?
