  1. I live on the East Coast of Canada and we have had more than 4 feet of snow over the last week. My 98 GS400 has all season tires on it and is more than a handful to drive. Generally I throw on the Snow setting and leave the traction control on. If I'm going up a hill and starting to slow thanks to the Traction Control, I'll take it off and spin up the hill. All the same, just take it easy and there should be no problems.
  2. Great, thanks for the help. I'm guessing here in Canda they will only charge me double....
  3. I put a Cat Back Borla exhaust on my 98 in about an hour. As long as you've got some tools and space to do it, there is no problem.
  4. Oh, I like that idea, since I have a remote starter that does not re-adjust the wheel anyway. Can I re-program it, or do I need to pay Lexus another extreme amount of money to do nothing. Thanks
  5. There is a tech bulletin out for something similiar. It states that the head unit needs to be replaced (used to be under warranty). Basically, the CD/Head Unit lock up and the only way to reset it is to turn the ignitian off then on. http://www.clublexus.com/index.php/article...iew/2140/1/160/
  6. Anyone having problems with the automatic steering wheel adjustment when you remove the key in cold weather ? My 98 GS400 is having problems when I first start the car when it is cold. The steering wheel moves toward the driver, but will not move down to its programmed position. After about a half hour of driving, I can manually lower the wheel. Any thoughts on a fix (i.e. Lube the motor, start driving like a trucker) ? Thanks
  7. Another thing that I found made a huge difference was adding a torque converter. Although the main issue is resetting the ECU, the torque converter gives an amazing put you in the back seat feeling on acceleration. Just my 2 cents.
