I used some elmers glue and a q-tip to wipe off the excess...hopefully it will work just as well.

Manned up and took it the speaker out, the top of the cone came apart and was vibrating.

Yeah, I just have no idea how to get to that speaker and i'd hate to pay the dealership $200 just to look at it, it does sound like it could be a bad connection of some sort though.

Yes, it's present as long as that speaker is playing...it's literally sounds like a pebble rolling around ont he speaker.

Hey all, new to the forum, I bought an 06 GS300 with the ML stereo system about a month and a half ago, yesterday I noticed a hissing static noise coming from my dashboard center console speaker even at low volumes, I do play my music loud often but it does not exactly sound like a blown speaker, it sounds more like it could be a wire touching...has anyone else had this issue and what was done to resolve it? please help, thanks in advance.
