  1. I'm glad I haven't sent in my survey. Survey is the buzz word, use it friend! A few years ago I encountered a problem with my dealership on day of pick up of new Lexus RX. It was a pricing discrepancy on the dealer's end. I got so ticked I told them I would get corporate on the horn immediately. They agreed if I would give them the survey to fill out they would hand me back a $1200 check ... and they did!
  2. quote=RX400h,Apr 8 2005, 05:00 PM] The fix is arriving April 18th. It's called the RX400h - CVT tranny and enough torque to pull a house off its foundation. ....gotta love it! Last week I took my 99RX to the dealer for its last 6/60 warranty issue. I asked the head service writer @ Lexus of Watertown,MA their expected due date for the RX400. I'd like to drive one before deciding the 330 versus the 400. He shrugged and said, "They're unbelievable ... first it was to be last October now it's supposed to be some time in May? But I'll tell you this ... any owner that's an aggressive city driver will end up spending lots more on gas than if they stayed with the conventional RX...and I can only hope Lexus states it somewhere in the new owner's manual!"
  3. [<Unlisted,Feb 24 2005, 12:37 PM] I have 2 in the family one Japanese and one Canadian...both run great.> I have a 99 RX and am looking at the 05's. Did you have to buy in Canada for that one? If so was it cheaper to do it that way? Were there any fees to bring it into the US? I'm in MA and wouldn't mind the trip to save lots of money.
  4. Let's not panic! I work at for Lexus at TMMC, so make sure that you wave at me when you get there. As far as you scheduling plant tours, it is as simple as calling them directly at (519) 653-1111 ext. 2270. YOu don't have to plan it few months in advance. I think that there is a waiting list of about 2-3 weeks. Here is some additional info: http://www.toyota.ca/cgi-bin/WebObjects/WW...t160000e%2ehtml Hope it helps. ← Lexusfreak: Just curious about this RX tour on the 25th of January? I clicked on your hyperlink and noticed tours run each week. Why is Jan. 25th special? hybev1
  5. Dear Lexusfreak...My husband and I would like to take the RX tour. Can you tell me how to contact the plant? We are near Boston, MA so it's a 7 or 8 hour trip to Ontario for us. I'd appreciate any info :P . I tried to post a note about this to you earlier but I guess it got lost. Getting around in here is not like using my AOL.(LOL) Thanks Hybev1
  6. Hi, this is my first post... I will be buying a 2005 RX330 soon but I want my best deal. I ordered the Consumer Reports price report and when I spec out what I want the dealer invoice is $37,127. What is a reasonable buying price for this car? I live near Boston. I want it in silver with gray int and the Premium Plus Pkg with Navigation. I have a 99 RX 300 in perfect condition with 53,000. Don't know whether to trade it or sell it out right. Last I checked, the dealer would give me $16,500 but I see them selling for $20,000. I am a 60 year old woman but not afraid to take on car salesmen. LOL Bev P
