No. The 2010 requires oil change at 5K too and it uses 0W20 which is 100% synthetic. After 10K miles I switched to 5W20, Mobil 1. The car is running smoother and quieter with 5W20.

Yes. The driver side wind whine is definitely there in my 2010 LS460L. It is a kind of haunting sound:).
