I have never used clay, but my car has hard water spots that wont wash off. Should I use clay? Anything special I need to do? thanks

I know, you guys are mostly ES fans over here :D I have an ES too. I can honestly say that I like the 1995 to current ESes more than the 2006 GS. The 1998 to 2005 GS is just plain awesome looking in my opinon. The 06 GS is just plain jane, blend with crowd styling. A step backward in LOOKS if you ask me.(and many others).

how can you say stalling it up before launch doesn't help. no way. my 430 pulls way harder from stop when you take advantage of what small stock stall we have.

keep one foot on brake and one on gas at launch. before takeoff give it as much gas as you can without moving

K&N filters can be a pain in the !Removed! to oil PROPERLY. Too much oil=clogged effect, low air flow, sensors and intake tract get oily. Not enough oil=dirt gets by and damage engine not worth the nuisance for little to no gain in hp. Get a factory filter.

You finished off at least one motor mount. If it's just the dogbone it's easy and cheap to fix yourself

sure sounds like brakes to me. bad rotors can vibrate even when not braking. reseting ecu helps reduce that lag between gears when driving normal.

Those directions on your link are for removing SC cluster. Is it same for es?

steve-I didn't know they made mf towels for just windows. Sometimes I just use a dry mf on windows w/good results if they aren't that bad. I also agree shiney dash looks cheesey. I use meg. natural shine and wipe off excess w/a mf. works great. chuck

Not even on the windows? I heard that you are not supposed to use it on the outside of your windshield, but i thought everywhere else was fine. ← the ammonia overspray is bad for your dash, door panels, seats etc. that's why it's best to avoid

You're not even supposed to use windex unless it says No ammonia. Bad for cars :D

my local sucky toyota dealer does oil changes on my es but I would never let them touch my gs430. The last time they spilled oil all over and didn't even attempt to wipe off. I called and #itched and they said next time free. aLSO, THEY HAVE A 30 MIN OR LESS OR NEXT ONE'S FREE BUT THEY WON'T HONOR THAT ON MY LEXUS

Like I said, I bought my GS private party and Lexus of Sarasota treats me like I bought it new there yesterday! They warranty anything I ask for and give me my choice of avail loaners, get me in on no notice and wash car for free(If you wan't) Why you wan't to leave sarasota for orlando anyway,yuck.

You should have stuck with Sarasota Lexus. They have been great to deal with service- wise. They offered me a great deal on a new GS300 but I found a mint private party 430 still under bumper to bumper the next day.(Thank god I didn't buy the new 300). I know a great service rep there if you wanna know her name.
