Has anyone replaced motor mounts on '95 es 300? How many are there including trans mounts ? How many labor hrs should I expect. Thanks Also-just curious? How long do your motor mounts usually last?

I have a '95 es w/80k. Only complaint I have is motor mounts seem shot. Does anyone know how many labor hrs to replace all mounts. how many are there including trans mount. I will get parts from Lexus and bring to local mechanic Also chews front tires about every 12k mi. Anyone else chew tires fast on their es?

I think I got a killer deal. Bought from original private owner who needed to make room for HER 7 series BMW & LS 430.

I recently had my windshield replaced via ins. I demanded factory windshield AND MOLDING KIT. Lexus dealer did not do instal. They just sub it out so I had their sub do it. That's the way they wanted to do it. Seems to be fine as far as wind noise. You can tell when you look at molding on top not quite has perfect line as orig but I'm only one who notices. Does everyone else know where every little imperfection is on their cars? Probably if you are online here

This may help someone else. Let me know if you have encounterd this. I recently had tires ballanced and took car on interstate for high speed test. When approaching 100 mph I heard rattling noise from back seat/trunk area. It took me two days but I figured it out. There are some kind of vent tubes on each side of trunk under carpet that go through trunk well and stick out a few inches under bottom sides of car. At super high speed they start blowing around and bouncing off metal sides of inside trunk. THE FIX- zip tie hose to holes already there on inside of trunk-noise gone

Has anyone ran a stock newr gs400 against a stock 430? Just curious if the computer throttle control messes with raw power output. I notice on my 01 gs430 that when in neutral and I do a small free rev that the computer doesn't want to let it rev. My 95es300 free revs faster then the 300hp 430(IN neutral ONLY)

anyone tried goodyear eagle f1 gs. I have orig. stock 225/55/16goodyear gt-4 now with 22000 miles on them. F1 GS tires look sweet but I don't want to lose comfort. anyone? tire rack reviews seem to say michellens wear fast

I have a midnight pine 01 gs430 with 22500 miles that I bought about a month ago for $27000(deal?). Warranty runs out in about 9 months. Anything I should have dealer Check before it runs out? motor mounts, bushing etc?thanks
