I tore through a pair of toyo proxes tpt in about 10k miles on my 95 es. Partly my fault because I didn't rotate enough . But still seemed to wear quickly. I have bfg traction ta's now . They are nice riding. Only have about 1k on them I have never noticed tire noise in my es. My gs430 however,has stock eagle gt+4s w/22k on them and they are pretty loud

what is the best one for bang for buck? Lextasy has one for 85 bucks or something. I think they make it themselves? Is that one decent?

does anyone know how much coolant is required for drain & replace? I know to get the red toyota stuff. Do you mix it w/water 50/50 or what? thanks

Does anyone know if gs430(01) already comes w/ L tune style steer ecu? I hadn't heard that before. doesn't sound like it is worth messing with.

my 95 es300 has full size spare but bunk spare style rim. my 01 gs430 has nice full size rim & spare

I waxed my 01 dark green gs 430 with nxt gen tech wax and loved it! Went on & came off super easy. I decided to try the spray on version of tech wax. I did not like. It was way harder to remove and I found it messy to spray on. I called meguiars and told them and they offered to send me(FREE!) any product of thiers with similar price. And, I didn't have to send back spray wax,I opted for the tech wash. Three days later UPS showed up and it was the wash & THEY SENT ME A FREE WASH MITT TOO> GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will buy their products again.

95es 300-80k I didn't think it was the dog bone again because I changed it a few years ago. Turns out I changed it 3 & 1/2 yrs ago and it was totally shot(BIGTIME) again. Got part from my buddy today at toyota (Part #12363-62020) for $35 and fixed it in 10 minutes. Here what I have had to repair in 3.5years and 43,000 miles(car had 37k when I bought) CV joints brakes Engine move rod(Dogbone) twice Replace power antenna AC expansion valve(started blowing warm out of driver side vents before it totally went) Even when it did go,it would work fine until you drove for about an hour. Thats it. Not bad. How do you guys compare?

also- in another old post someone was told by a dealer that gs that come w/spoiler factory have reinforced trunk lid & this should be done(changed) when adding spoiler. is this true? will aftermarket one be flexy at speed and/or cause trunk warp probs? maybe i'll just leave mine alone. thanks

I was thinking about buying prepainted (OEM?)spoiler from lexuspro.com for $275 plus 25 ship. Anyone have experiance w/lexuspro.com or these spoilers. thanks

My 01 430 is all stock & I plan on mostly keeping it that way.(No need to mess with a good thing!) The recallibrated steering ecu has got my attention. Is it easy to install and can you feel a difference? I would assume it is not a reliability issue since it is an oem part.(Is the one you get from lextasy an oem?) thanks

I've read that one of the changes from 2000 to 2001 gs are revised tail lights/ I can't tell what's changed. Anybody know?

what about front bushing I have seen mentioned that cause slight shimmy sometimes. What & where is that?

thanks NEO. It worked. Car feels a little crisper & seems to not let off gas as much between shifts. It sounded like my PC thinking(like sound your computer makes)for a few seconds when I plugged fuse back in

What do I do? Just pull fuse and wait how long? Do I disconnect battery? Any adverse effects. Please someone let me know. I tried search but nothing came up. Will I notice performance difference? Thanks
