  1. I have those exact seat covers. They are pretty nice. Easy enough to install, although you have to remove the seats completely both front and back. I did have some small splits appear after a few months though...so quality is questionable...they did renew the look of my car though...no question. I had a split on the top of my back seat and for as little as I use it the price was right...call them directly if you dont' want to mess with ebay...that's what I did.
  2. 90K is the first recommended Tbelt change...my Lexus dealer quoted me approx. $1500 for 90K service with TBelt and water pump swaps... A nice service advisor will run the VIN for you and let you see everything any Lexus dealer in the country has done to the car...
  3. A friend said I should always turn off the A/C before turning off the car, as the life of the A/C system will be shortened if I leave it on during the process of starting the car. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Should I worry about turning off the A/C before I turn of the key? thanks Satchel
  4. thanks...I had that feeling...the power wire is fused...so that looks like what I need to do... Jim
  5. I want to hard wire my XM Skyfi radio to the fusebox in my 95 ES300...I can get the kit and run the wires from the console storage compartment to the fuse box near the hood release...there is a fuse there for seat heaters, which I don't have...does anyone know if the power there is switched? If I tap into that fuse, will I get constant power when the key is on? Or is there a better choice there for a fuse to choose?? Thanks Jim
  6. I've just bought a 95 ES300 and lifted quite a few hoods (6) and they ALL had 2004 stamped on them...
  7. Yes...Anniversary edition...that sounds familiar from the window sticker...
  8. I have been craving an ES300 and finally stopped to drive a 1994 today. The owner says it is the Platinum edition, but I'm not sure entirely what that included. It is white on white with tan leather and Coach edition wheels. It has 101,000 miles and feels really tight. The window sticker is folded in the owner's manual book along with maintenance records from a local dealer. The tach needle was dark and the speedo needle was blinking, but everything else seemed fine. Oh, the trunk release button didn't work, but maybe I was missing something. Body was beautiful with two "dings" like a hailstone would make...one in the hood and one in a door...no paint damage. Used dealer wants $6500. I haven't tried to talk her down yet. Anything I need to know? Anyone have a list of what the Platinum edition included? Dealer said the timing belt/water pump were changed out at 91k... I'm thinking this might be the one...
