  1. Just picked up mine yesterday from the Lexus dealer: 2003, 35K, Black/Grey CPO to 100K - GREAT CAR!!! The front end seems to bounce a lot over bumps though... as if the shocks are bad but they're hydrolic right. Any other experiences like this?
  2. Don't want to beat dead horses here... How do I search??
  3. If I can get any input on the L-tuned struts, I am going to order them from Sewell Lexus - http://www.lexus-parts.com/ They are only $169 for all for corners. I also noticed that have a sway bar upgrade for only $499. I would expect that these two would really increase performance without compromise to drivability. I know a lot about Mercedes but am a newbe to Lexus. So, I do not have any first hand experience with these parts. Input anyone ???
  4. Could be a suspension component that is stressed when weight shifts to the front of the car... Is the sound comming from the brakes? Front or rear of car? I would inspect tie rods, links, ball joints and bushings. Also inspect brake pads, retaining springs, and calipers for anything that is loose or looks funny. Has there been any recent brake work performed? OE parts?
  5. I have owned a 2000 GS300 for the past two months and have been reading here frequently. Congratulations on putting together such a great site!! My car has 36K on it, purchased at 25K, and needs two new front struts. I have read here before how some have been experiencing vibrations similar to that with warped rotors when braking at high speeds. I brought it to the shop with this issue and they noticed two leaking front struts. The car is warrenteed until 100K so the work will be done free of charge. I am considering paying extra and putting on the l-tuned struts on all four corners while it is in. I am just looking for a bit less "float." I understand that some of this will be accomplished with the new struts. However, having had 4 Mercedes prior to this, I really want more responsivness without messing with front end geometry. Any thoughts on this product with this application are appreciated... Parts will be comming from Sewell Lexus. I spoke with, Darrel, there yesterday - who was very helpful. part number: 0064448800200 Thanks
