I have a 99 gs300 I replaced wheel bearings and hub, and am trying to tighten up the nut hold the steering knuckle to the upper control arm. I got the nut turning a few turns and it get tight and the stud keeps spinning is this normal or is something damaged. If this is normal for this to spin how do I get the nut onto the stud tight thank you in advance.

I have a 99 lexus gs300, when I turn my key nothing happens no locking no unlocking but with keyless entry it works and manually it works fine. My problem is my actuators are starting to go bad so my doors open when they want to so i really need my key to work any suggestions anyone. thank you
