  1. I just had to say good bye to my RX. 2000 RX300 AWD, transmission finally quit.....after 382,000 miles. The trany didn't owe me anything!
  2. I just repaired my module, unfortunately I can not tell you how to get that power outlet out without breaking one of the plastic tabs. I will say that it went back in fine and stays in place even with one broken tab...
  3. Ok, I've read a ton of threads about repairing the air servos, so I was confident in tackling this, but now that I have it all apart, trouble. So I removed the air mix servo (the one that controls feet/face/defrost) cleaned it all out and got it put back together and put back in. I went to test it before putting the glovebox and stuff back, and I get nothing. The servo doesn't even try to engage, like its not even getting power, so I got out my multimeter and when I test the wire harness connecter, only getting .67 volts. Any suggestions!?!?
  4. Just did mine (2000 rx300) Pain in the a**, but do-able. Hint-take your wipers, the linkage and the cowl off for better access.
  5. My 2000 rx 300 does the same thing and I have replaced both knock sensors recently. My solution was to buy a cheap OBII scan tool so you can clear the codes yourself. Once they are cleared it will shift again. Also if you turn the car off then back on it should shift also.
  6. if its anything like mine it needs a new brain (PCM)
