  1. Greets all, my CEL light has come on for the first time on my '98 SC400 and the TRAC OFF light is also on. An OBDII reader indicates error code 505 in the powertrain. I've scoured the web and the best I can find for that code is that it relates to the IAC valve. The car is running fine though. It has about 115000 miles on it, and I've not changed the plugs or O2 sensors yet (that's in the queue). If it is the IAC valve, please tell me there is a way to remove and clean or replace it without taking the intake manifold off... Thanks in advance for the help, James
  2. I bought the factory service manual for my '98 SC400 but it does not seem to cover how to change light bulbs in the nakamichi stereo. Does anyone know where I can get info on how to reach the light bulbs it it? Thanks! Jamey
  3. I'm trying to find out the proper brake bleeding sequence for my 1998 SC400. I have the service manual, but it is very difficult to search and while it does give instructions to bleed the TRAC system, I can't seem to find the order of wheels to bleed. All of my other cars have a unique bleeding sequence, and their service manuals identify the order to bleed various elements in their systems (wheels, ABS ports, traction control). Thanks in advance for the help. Also if anyone does reply, please use terminology of "passenger side, driver side" rather than right/left (which tends to be ambiguous) Thanks in advance, James
