Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum. A friend of mine has a 99 RX300 that I'd like to change the oil for him and the rear brake pads. But before I do that, I have some questions for the experts here. -Is a new oil drain plug gasket required with every oil change? -What are the torque specs for the drain plug? -What brand of filter and oil is best? Rear brake pads: -Do I need a special tool to compress the brake piston? -What brand and type of pads is best? Thanks in advance for any input.
