2001 rx300

when i start my car early in the morning, there's noise sounds like hummingbird. however, it went away after 15 minutes. it happens when i drive home after work. the dearler told me it is the friction of the belt which is not a major problem. is there anything on the market that can make it go away? i'm so embarrassing every time i start my car in the parking lot.

my 1997 es300 also had oil leak when it's 40k miles. i took it back to lexus dealer three times and finally they got it fixed. the last time, it took 3 weeks for them to check and put special growing fluid in the oil tank so they could see where the leak was. they just patched it. my car now have 76k and no more leak thereafter.

I've 97 ES300. I went to Toyota service center for oil change and tire rotation, they told me I need to change all the rotors which were in bad shape for $1k. When I drive my car, everything seems normal. I'm not sure if the dealer tries to rip me. Can anyone please tell me what's the symtoms for bad rotors? How dangerous would it be for driving with bad rotors? Thanks very much.
