My 91 lexus ls 400 had a problem. I found this web site and all is well. I was driving home from work, and I went to pass a car and gave it gas and nothing. No power, and it seemed like the tranny was out. I limped it over to the shop, and told me that it was the computer. I did some research on this web site, and told them to check the coils, and they did, and it was the drivers side coil.
So if your car is running rough, no power, and the cats are getting red hot check the ignition coils.
