  1. Hi there, I spotted a great set of OEM mags from a 2000 IS300 and was wondering if any of you knew if they would fit my 1995 LS400. The bolt pattern seems to be the same but I am not sure about the depth of the mag. If anyone could let me know, I'd appreciate it!
  2. I have a lifetime subscription with Sirius and you are allowed to transfer your subscription to another receiver (portable car, etc...) a maximum of 3 times. I have the lifetime subscription on the LS400 and purchased a 6 month subscription for $30 on a portable radio. Hope this helps.
  3. Yes, it's still available. Feel free to email me directly.
  4. You guys have just confirmed what I was thinking: a second opinion is the way to go. I'd much rather spend some dough having a specialist tell me exactly what the real issue is instead of having a fortune's worth of work done that'll not only not fix the problem but affect the integrity of my car. Thanks so much for your help, gentlemen!
  5. Montreal, Canada. Finding the LS400 up here is virtually impossible! I bought the car a few months back, fully knowing that I'd have to put some money into it in order to get it up to snuff. The car didn't initially grind when steering but the cornering was always quite loose and the ride spongy. I also thought that it had something to do with the suspension but my mechanic took it out for a ride about two months back and said it was the shocks. The grinding started only a few weeks ago so I'm no longer sure where I should be going with this. Thing is, I'm completely enamored with my car and have every intention of restoring to what the original ride was meant to be. Again, the input's appreciated as I plan to have this problem fixed as soon as I can determine what the deal is. This forum's been great, it's been extremely helpful so far.
  6. Hi there, Thanks so much for your response! My car's got 188 kilometres on it. It doesn't take curves as tightly as it's supposed to and I hear a slight grinding when turning a corner, which tells me that the wheels are hitting the body. If I could get a direct link to where I should buy as well as part numbers, I'd appreciate it. Not a DIY'er as much as someone who buys parts online and then gives them to his mechanic, thus avoiding his markup. Thanks!
  7. Hey there, So it looks like my shocks gave out on my 95 LS400 and I'd like to replace them with OEM parts. Does anyone know who made them and where I can get them cheap online? I'm seeing either KYC or Bilstein coming up in most of my searches but don't know enough about car parts to distinguish. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
  8. Hi there, I was hoping to get some help from the forum concerning upgrading the lights on my 1995 LS400. I'm really not knowledgable in the least when it comes to automotive stuff, so if anyone could give me suggestions for what type of HID lighting I should buy for my car and perhaps where I could get it cheapest. I'm restoring my car without changing the original, classic (imho) look. Thanks in advance for your help?
  9. Hey there, Just wondering if anyone has a leather/burlwood steering wheel for sale for my 95 LS400, or if you could perhaps lead me towards the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  10. Hey there, If your car originally had a Nakamichi stereo, it should work; the amplifier was made specifically for Lexus. As for price, I'd take $150 for both pieces. From what I understand, that's a steal, but I'd rather it goes to someone from the forum than just having it sit around in my garage. Let me know.
  11. Alright, so I looked up the info for the Nakamichi stereo and amp. Here's everything I have:\ 1) Lexus OEM Nakamichi Premium sound system 86120-50370 c725ul0a Serial# 06554 2) OEM Lexus Nakamichi Amplifier 86280-50160 B338ul0a serial# 06558 I took a look at the pins and they're exactly the same as the ones in the picture you posted, as is the wattage (40W x 4 and 100W x 1) Both work great and the cd/tape deck looks perfect from an aesthetic standpoint. As mentioned in a previous post, the tape deck has a tape stuck in it, which I never bothered to remove, don't use it. Feel free to contact me if you have other questions.

  13. Will look up this info over the weekend and post. Sounded great before I took it out, but I needed satellite radio and usb key so had to switch the whole thing up.
  14. Hey there, If you could check for a burlwood/tan steering wheel for a 95 LS400 I'd certainly appreciate it! Feel free to pm or email me directly. Thanks.
