  1. I totally forgot about that website...thanks. don't see too may 5 speed manual IS300 's out there. Guess we the minority.
  2. My IS300 is in the shop and the dealership loaned me an IS250 with dual HKS Exhaust and full exhaust system, ISF fitted Brake calipers & drilled roters, dropped with a front lip...yea this is from the dealership. only has 700 miles on it too. After just one day of driving this car i miss the days of having a fixed up car...so back to the topic, i wanted to know what good springs i could put on my IS300? i've heard Tein springs (high tech) give it a nice drop of .7 in the front and 1 in the rear which is not low at all and it should give it that fresh sporty look. Also thinking about a clean sounding exhaust . I've had Apexi on my integra before and it was not loud at all, just right. Want to know what you IS300 owners have on your tricked out rides and what works and what doesn't. Any suggestions would help, it's been 6 years since i've hooked up a car and i just want something a little more sporty than what i have now. Thanks in advance. I drive a 2004 IS300 5 speed manual. Everything is stock and since i have to change out my shocks and tires soon i guess this would be a good time to upgrade since the warranty and extended is up.
  3. They told me it can be the valve seat.....i had the same problem with my Acura integra, but a quick valve adjustment fixed the problem. I can't figure it out and might have to bring it to the dealer and see what they say. Thanks
  4. I have a 04 IS300 5speed and i just had my Timing belt, water pump ,all drive belts and the 90k service and now there is this clicking noise every time i accelerate. i always bring my car to the dealer but when they were charging $1800 for the timing belt & $500 for the 90,000 service, i had to look elsewhere. i brought it back to my old mechanic shop which i had used for the past 10 years for my other cars and he did the Job(T-Belt & 90,000 svs) for about $1100. After i got the car back i heard this clicking noise. Anyone else having this problem? someone said it can be the lifters or the fuel injectors. The dealer ship is charging $1200 for a valve job! any suggestions? Also, from experience i have noticed that when a car gets close to the 100,000 mark there are random parts that just break down due to age and miles...kind of like your disrupting the harmony in the engine and that causes the break down of other parts.
