  1. Wash and Lube oil change? :) Thats a good one, you might as well go to Jiffy Lube or drive your car into a brick wall and get it over with :) I know it sounds like a rickety garage, but it's actually in a reall affluent area. There are regularly Ferraris, Bentleys and Mazaratis there, but they are likely just getting washed. I just have heard with BMW's for instance, you have to go to the dealer for your oil changes. It's just really convenient for me, so u was just curious. If the dealer is half way reasonable, I'll just take the time out of my weekends every 3 months to get it done :D
  2. You can get your oil changed anywhere you choose...as long as you keep the receipts & had the maintenance done within the time & mileage window you are fine should you have a problem. How much does your dealer charge for an oil change? I don't know. As I said, I just purchased the vehicle, so haven't had to change the oil yet. I'll be heading there this weekend to have them adjust the windshield wipers and inquire about the navi disc, so I'll get a quote then and check back with you.
  3. I just purchased a 07 GS350 and won't need an oil change for awhile, but is it advised to go to the dealer for oil changes or can I got to my normal wash and lube place to have one done?
  4. Pretty much since 2004 I have only listened to music via MP3 on my various generations of iPods. I currently have an iPhone and would like to be able to listen to my music in the car, without having to deal with the static of an FM transmitter or have to deal with the look of the transmitter in my luxury vehicle. I was looking into adding an after market auxillary line to the stereo, such as the iSimple - Apple iPod Direct Connect Kit designed for Lexus' from Best Buy. Its received good reviews and looks like it would meet my needs. General thoughts/suggestions on adding after market parts to the stereo or the iSimple?
  5. I just purchased an 07 GS350 with 26,700 miles for 30,998. Spectra blue, with tan leather interior, wood grain accents. LCD screen (appears not to have navi), ML audio, 6 disc cd changer, bluetooth connectivity, voice command dialing, etc. I'm very happy with how it rides, though I have noticed the "rough" ride described by many people due to the run flats. About the Navi, it appears I have all the hardware required, except for maybe the DVD drive. Anybody know what it would run me to add navigation to the car? Also, I noticed yesterday that my windshield wipers do not rest just inside the hood, rather they rest roughly 4-5 inches above it. Is there anyway I can easily adjust this? gs350.bmp
