I'm looking for a repair manual for my 2000 rx300.

I don't seem to be able to find where the latch is under the hood so that I may attempt to trip it from underneath or outside of the 2000 RX300. Can someone tell me how to get access to that latch? Maybe I should go to a dealer and ask to open the hood so that I can see the latch. Unfortunately, I have had this vehile a short time and am not familiar with the latch location.

That doesn't work either.

We bought a 2000 RX300 about a month ago. The hood opened fine on 2 occasions. Now, when I trip the hood latch it clicks but doesn't pop up. How can I get at the latch? I have tried pushing down a on the hood and releasing pressure while someone releases the latch and that doesn't work jfw
