  1. When I had my '03 ES I also had the dashboard noise, intermittently. This was fixed at the Lexus service dept. There was a TSB issued for this problem. I would have assumed that they would have corrected it in manufacturing after 3 years, but I guess they didn't. :whistles:
  2. Be nice toys!!!!!! This attitude will get you nowhere! :chairshot:
  3. Good question. I don't think there is one because you can upload videos! If there is a limit, it probably is very high. It's true that'll they'll give you 25GB of storage, but they limit your downloads to only 1GB per month. Also, the send file size is up to 25MB, and the host file size is any size. With this kind of limitation, you can't really download anything but the smallest videos. :cries:
  4. I doubt it, since it says, "Replaces the mast on your aftermarket Metra PW-22 motorized antenna!" I'm assuming that you have the OEM antenna system, and that's not considered an aftermarket unit.
  5. If you register your car here, they'll send you an Owners Manual, free of charge. http://owners.lexus.com/lexusowners/nonaut...ormationPreview
  6. The compression is probably a "RAR" file. Check out the free version here: http://www.rarlab.com/
  7. Confucius say: Good luck.......and the first thing you should do is to decorate the garage. LOL
  8. Maybe Lexus will follow suit and increase their warranties also. :)
  9. Nice, very nice.....enjoy it. :)
  10. Hey Doug- The car looks great!!! Use it well.....and drive carefully.
  11. Just because the spokes in the steering wheel are not centered doesn't necessarily mean your front wheels are out of alignment. This adjustment(centralizing) can be made by adjusting the tie rod ends. I'd probably have the alignment done just to be sure. The centralizing of your steering wheel is part of the alignment.
  12. If you recall, about 2 weeks ago somebody backed up into the front of my ES350 while I was shopping at a mall, and I'm happy to say that after the hood, left & right headlight assemblies, and bumper were replaced and painted, you couldn't tell that this car had any kind of trauma. The paint match and lining up of all the parts were 100% perfect! This was done by my Lexus dealers body shop. I had nightmares before I picked the car up, thinking that the color match would be off a little.......but no....it was dead on. There was not one thing I could nit pick about this job. Even the little details like putting the little stickers under the new hood were done exactly like the original hood had. I'm happy once again. :)
  13. Most likely....No. :(
  14. StevieJ's beautiful ES, and also SW03ES's super shiny ES. :P
  15. Sorry to hear that Steve, but I have an even better story, and my tale of woe. Last week I was out to a Long Island mall shopping, and when I came back to the parking area, there was my car pushed back into the traffic lane. I noticed that before I left to shop there was an SUV parked with the tail of his/her car in front of me. It looked like the driver of this SUV inadvertently put their car in reverse and crashed into me with such force that it made a hole in my bumper, drove the whole assembly back, so the hood was kinked, plus on first inspection did other internal damages. I drove the ES home without noticing any ill effects from this trauma. On Monday morning I went to my Lexus dealer to get an idea of how much this repair was going to cost, and I was told about $2000.....but he could give me a more accurate price after the bumper was removed. The original estimate was incorrect, because on further inspection both the left & right headlamp assemblies were cracked, and they had to be replaced also...at about $1000 per side. The final total for this repair was $4045.53, plus my comprehensive deductible of $500. The hood, hid light assemblies, bumper, plus many more bent brackets had to be replaced. I won't get my car back until sometime next week, but I was told that after this repair was done, that this fairly massive job would be undetectable. I've seen some other jobs that this Lexus body shop has done in the past.....so I believe what they told me. Upset is really not strong enough to describe how I'm feeling, as you can understand, but it's really bothering me tremendously, since this SUV owner took off without leaving me any kind of note.....hit & run! Remember: If at all possible, DON'T PARK BEHIND AN SUV!! The main reason my car had so much damage was because of the unequal bumper heights. I'll report back after I get my sweet 'lil car back, and tell you the final results.
  16. My passengers and I find the ES350 seats extremely comfortable, but I have the UL Editon which has a higher grade of leather then the lesser equipped ES's.....and it's perforated besides. Also, there's a lumbar adjustment for both the driver and passenger seat which is another plus.
  17. Here's one place where you can get that part, but I'm sure there are many other etailers. http://catalog.drivewire.com/drivewire/bas...Master+Cylinder
  18. Hey Steve........Which picture is the one of you? Is it the picture of the White House with the fat kid standing in front? heehee :P
  19. When I mentioned the hinge in a previous post was because I had the same problem that was caused by the hinge binding somewhat. I had to lubricate the hinge and work the door back and forth until it moved easily.
  20. That's a safety feature so you don't lock yourself out. :)
  21. 61 mph! Your gas mileage will continually go down as your speed increases, because of wind resistance. ;)
  22. This ABS bleeding procedure is for another make of car, but it's basically the same for your Lexus. Read this> http://dodgeram.org/tech/repair/Brakes/beeding.htm
  23. What does this pin look like and where it located on it if I were to open it? Thanks It's the hinge where the gas door pivots. A very simple fix. :)
  24. maybe i can take off my whole plastic piece that houses everything, and then use some compressed air and clean it? They sell contact cleaner in an aerosol container that has a small tube that directs the cleaning liquid into the volume control. Sometimes this'll work. You can get it at Radio Shack here: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.js...rentPage=search P.S. You have to pull off the volume control knob so you can shoot the cleaning liquid down the shaft.
  25. How much it cost you moving from 330 to 350? $1k - $5k? more? More, much more.......about $20 G's........but my happiness is very important. LOL :)
