  1. Wait! I have an even better deal for you! For $30 bucks I'll let you see the movie in my car on my NAV screen. Here you'll be able to sit on my beautiful leather seats, and I'll even turn on the air conditioner......but, NO EATING ALLOWED IN MY CAR......I don't want it slopped up!
  2. Hmmm.........I guess you weren't aware that I have a personal service that delivers the flix to your house, all for the low price of $25 per movie....and that includes a free bucket of popcorn! Plus, I'll throw in an eggroll. LOL :)
  3. That's a tough call, because even though you might be able to see the belt it's hard to determine whether the belt has useful life. Example: On a few of my previous cars(Honda Accord & Honda Prelude), I changed the belts at the proper replacement intervals, and they looked absolutely perfect. As they say, "Looks can be Deceiving". P.S. The engine on your ES is a non-interference engine, so even if the belt broke you wouldn't destroy it......all that would happen is the engine would just stop running.
  4. I was waiting for that one. :)
  5. If you locate the Honda you're interested in, give us more info about the car, mileage, condition, price, etc.
  6. Check that you don't have a vacuum leak. The fact that you have a hard feeling when depressing the brake pedal could cause this problem due to low vacuum.
  7. I'm using Verizon as my carrier, and using an LG VX8300 phone. The reception on both ends is very good, as told to me by the parties whom I'm talking to. On occasion though the connection is a little less than perfect......but very rarely. I don't know whether it makes a difference, but I'm using this bluetooth setup with my ES350 that's equipped with NAV and ML sound.
  8. Definitely sounds like a sensor problem. Bring the car back to your dealer and have it corrected.
  9. Great looking car....enjoy it. I know what you mean about the car fitting you well, because this past weekend I was driving my neighbors brand new LS460L and I felt like I was a chauffeur, more than a plain ole driver. In the past, I've also owned these large "horse type" cars, but now the ES fits my passengers and myself like a fine fitting glove. I can count the times that I have rear seat passengers on one hand....but of course there will always be those types that like to impress, like Hummer owners. LOL
  10. Hey guys.......the word is Brakes NOT Breaks!! Now that we've got that straight.......I don't know what the hell you're talking about since I have absolutely NO problems with my ES350 brakes. I've owned Accords, and I've owned an Integra GSR, and I didn't find them to be any better then the brakes on my car. If you have to "smash the breaks to the floor to get it to stop", then you must have a massive problem with your car, and I suggest you take it into your dealer and have them check it out!! Now, about the bad taste in your mouth.....I suggest you get a bottle of Scope. :chairshot:
  11. No, not without cutting some wires......but that will void your warranty.
  12. I had the override in my '07 ES, but I had to take the car into Lexus service because the display was not showing my car in the proper position on the map. There was a TSB for this problem, so the repair was to change the DVD disc to an upgraded version. So, that took care of using the override. It doesn't work anymore. :cries:

  14. It's sooo quiet it'll probably put you back to sleep. Well, I don't have any rattles, after owning my car for about 13 months. My daughter has an '04 RX330 which I drive on occasion. This RX has a great ride for an SUV, but there's no comparison to the ES350 ride. The ES is smoother & quieter by a larger margin. This is not a fair comparison......since it's like comparing apples to oranges. You can only get the Levinson system on the UL(Ultra Luxury) edition, which is part of a package that Lexus offers. Check out the various packages and prices offered on www.lexus.com
  15. OK, here's a recent picture of me for your facebook.
  16. Use a turkey baster to remove the brake fluid. Remove enough fluid so that the reservoir is about ½ full. This step is not necessary, but certainly advised, because when you push the pistons back in to accomodate the new pads, the fluid in the reservoir will overflow and make a mess in your engine compartment. :)
  17. From my understanding, the only thing that can be controlled by the car system is the volume, tone controls, and front/back, left/right balance of the speakers. No display of tunes playing on the NAV screen, and tune changes have to be done on the iPod itself. Plus, to keep the iPod battery charged you have to draw power from the accessory power plug in the center console. In other words, this hookup does not give you full integration. :whistles:
  18. Hmmmm.........That'll cover about 30 something miles, but the trip is about 1200 miles....one way. :whistles: I need more money than you offered.
  19. Since she lives in Minneapolis I didn't find out what the exact reason was. Story is, she brought the car into her Lexus dealer for her 30K service, and when she picked up the car she heard all kinds of banging sounds coming from the engine compartment. She brought it back, and had to leave the car for over a week. Long story short.........they had to do extensive internal engine work, which was fixed as a warranty repair. Did you ever try to get a straight explanation from somebody who doesn't know $hit from shinola. LOL :whistles: P.S. When I save up enough money for gas.......then I'll take that long drive to Minnetonka, MN and find out what really happened. <_<
  20. ....But I've heard of a motor failure on an '04 RX330.......namely, my daughters car.
  21. Sorry Ler- After your tales of woe, I think that this car will be a constant money pit! GET OUT NOW AND CUT YOUR LOSSES!!! From the outside the car looks great, but looks alone do NOT make a great car. You have reached a point of diminishing returns! Bite the bullet and dump it!! Maybe this will knock some sense into you>> :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot:
