Anyone, anyone? Should I have omitted the reasonably priced part?

Need a reasonably priced alternator for a 94 GS-300. Ken303@gmail.com

I think the previous owner of my GS (I bought it in July) took it four-wheeling or something because it has like a 6" x 10" dent in it. Does anyone have one they can sell me? I'd rather not order one from a stealership and I can't find a Lexus junkyard. I appreciate it!

Ok, think I must have some kind of short but thought I'd try for some input. When I bought my 94 GS, the drivers front turn signal bulb was out. Naturally, the rectangular amber light on the dash was lit. I replaced it. No sooner did I do that and the rear blinker went out too. Ok fine, replaced that too. Now I CANNOT find ONE bulb out ANYwhere on the car but the damn thing is lit again. I did notice that it didnt initially light up until I hit the brake, but the bulbs are good. Anyone have any tips? Kind of frustrating.

Ok, I think the very same thing JUST happened to me. I can hear it trying to go up and down but nothing happens, and you can physically extend or retract the mast with little effort. Would you mind telling me exactly what cable you bought on ebay to fix this. I would REALLY appreciate it!!!!

Dont spend the money. I've seen a mod someplace where you just take them apart and take the amber lens out of the stock light. This is what was done to mine (before I bought it) and it looks awesome. Just make sure you do a good job of re-sealing it, or you'll get condensation on the inside of the lens. Surely someone can tell you where that mod is..........

Well if anybody finds one, put me at number 2 on the list. The part the keychain goes through is broken off on mine. Its the only key I got with the car and I've lost it 3x in 3 weeks.

Rear DRUM? Don't all GSs have 4 wheel DISC brakes? Newbie to the Lexus, maybe I'm missing something.......... Anyway my e-brake is doing something similar. When I release it, it doesn't come all the way way back. Is this the cable too?

Need an airbag? I have a stock brown steering wheel (from a 94 GS) with an un-deployed airbag I'd love to get rid of.

Ok, I just bought a 94 GS300. The guy I bought it from took out the factory system and replaced it with aftermarket stuff. (It had the Pioneer tape only system.) He put in an Alpine head unit, amp, and speakers. The problem is the power antenna does not go up or down. I bought the car just thinking the antenna was bad and found one. I was just about to buy it from a guy on this forum. Well a buddy bought a 90 LS 400 today and just for giggles, I put my antenna in HIS car and it works. So my problem is obviously in the wiring TO the antenna. I see power in 2 places in the plug going to the antenna but I'm guessing that the trigger for it went through the Pioneer amp that is now out of the car. Anyone know whats wrong here??? I kind of like FM reception and would REALLY appreciate some help. (WAY too nice of a car to have stuff on it that doesnt work.)

I'm not sure how much help I can be because I've only had my 94 for a week now but it DOES have one. I was at the auto parts store, and they wanted $45 for it. They call it the cabin filter. I heard (on here, I think) thats its somewhere behind the glove box. Hope it helps.

Hey, I hate to ask you too (especially as my very first post) but would you do mine too? I am flying from Denver to Chicago to pick up this 94 GS 300 and I just want to make sure its what its supposed to be. And for some reason, my firewall wont let me get through to Carfax.
