I believe the dimming also cancels when you put the RX in reverse. The dark tint rear glass obviously reduces vision, as well. I would expect you'll adapt to the view in a short time. On my 95 LS400, My RVM does not dim as dark as it used to. It is on (green LED). Completely clueless on what to do with that.

I had that problem on my 95 LS400. I used a small piece of Velcro to fix that. Works good, and I only see the Velcro when it is down.

Nice to see there's another Miata/LS 400 owner. I was wondering if there were others besides myself. Eddie I have a 94 Miata and a 95 LS 400. Great combo!
