  1. 3rd time in the past 18 months, the accessory battery was low and could not start the car. The 2nd time, I had it towed to the dealer and they said it was ok. This time, when trying to start, the air bag light came on, then the dash lights started flashing and the headlights were dim. After sitting a while, it did finally start. I had the battery checked and it says it needs a charge. Tried that, yet it does not hold a charge and still shows it needs a charge. The odd thing is that this time, now the drivers window "auto up" function no longer works, the drivers button for the rear left seat window does not work (the rear seat button does work ok), all the windows seem to go up slowly. Is the accessory battery just a standard battery I can get anywhere? I have heard, yes buy a size 35 anywhere, and I have also heard that the battery is a special gel battery that has to be purchased through the dealer? Any recommendations as to a battery? Thanks.
  2. Hi. We have a 2010 RX450h. For the first 3 months, we had the trial XM which included all the audio plus traffic and weather. One of the features was a button, somewhere on the display, that read off the freeway traffic advisories. This is different than the occasional automatic traffic notifications that are read while driving along a route on the freeway. This was a specific button that brought us to a menu with the local freeway names. We would then click on the freeway and the NAV would read off the entire list, sometimes a long list, of traffic incidents on that freeway. After the trial 3 months, our XM of course went down. We subscribed with XM for the audio and traffic packages. Now we have all the audio and only the occasional automatic traffic alerts along the route. We can no longer find the button that would read the list of traffic incidents. XM tells us that we have the full traffic package. I though the button was on the Info screen, next to the XM Weather button, but not sure. Does anyone know how to access this traffic list? Thanks.
  3. Thinking about renewing our XM subscription. We received a postcard with a $77 for 1 year offer. This is for the radio only (music, etc) and does not include traffic. The best traffic deal we have seen is about $7 a month. Really, we could go without the music, since it is the traffic information that is important to us. Anyone have any better deals on the XM subscription or on the traffic subscription? Thanks.
