  1. I believe you're hearing the steering wheel lock pin engage.
  2. Best prices for genuine Toyota / Lexus parts with shipping that I have found is www.irontoad.com . I order both my Lexus parts and Toyota parts for my wife's RAV-4 from them. Shipping is very reasonable. If the parts are not listed, just email your list and they send you a quote. IronToad is actually several dealerships under one ownership, two of which are Lexus and Toyota dealerships, so you are getting genuine parts. Oliver
  3. I installed the factory Lexus 3500# hitch and yes it is far superior in both looks and attachment to the frame of the car than either of the aftermarket hitches. It also comes with the required cable (mounted to the hitch) that connects to the module in the trunk area. Search the ClubLexus RX-330 forum for the RX-330 hitch thread where I posted detailed pictures of and the part number for this hitch on my car. Oliver
  4. Try using a spray-on silicone lubricant such as CRC. This is safe for rubber and lubes the gasket. I use this around all our car doors to both extend the life of the gasket and to keep the gasket from freezing to the door in winter due to moisture. I have noticed that the gasket sometimes stuck on mine and would make a monemtary pop when opened. I sprayed a cloth with silicone spray and wiped it on and fixed it. Note, I am not referring to WD-40, but a pure silicone lube spray. Most automotive stores will have it.
  5. Does anyone know if you can access the C-Best settings yourself using a laptop? I have to assume the dealer just has a terminal or PC program that logs into the vehicle's computer to make these changes. Anyone "hacked" the RX-330 computer yet?
  6. Does anyone have a picture of their RX-330 with the new optional factory 10-spoke 18" wheels on it that they could post? I currently have the stock 17" wheels and would like to see how these look on the RX-330. I have seen the wheels only at the dealer, but since I'll need to replace the tires also with this switch, I want to make sure I like the look before going to this expense.
