  1. Hi, just want to say thank you to all the pointers I've received. When I removed the subwoofer cover, I could see that the paper cone was separated from the rubber ring on one side of the subwoofer. So, I used some vinyl/rubber repair cement (tip from RFeldes) and put a bead on top on the separation. After drying out overnight, the subwoofer now seems to work ok without buzzing. Thanks again......
  2. The subwoofer in my wife's 2001 LS430 is buzzing badly. I need to either repair or replace it. However, I have no clues on what the easiest way to remove the sub. Do I get to it from the trunk or do I need to remove the back seat first? I did a search on this but could not find any relevant info. Any help or pointer is greatly appreaciated. Thanks!
  3. Hi, I also have a 2001 LS430 with navigation. I just bought an updated DVD disk version 3.2 but I am having problems updating. When I put in this new disk, a message comes up on the navigation display saying" Read disk error. Check your disk". I made sure the new disk (v3.2) was clean but got this error message in all 3 tries. When I put in the old disk (v2000.1); everything worked fine just like before. digital_b, could you please give me more information about what you said about required programming by the dealer? Did you have this done? How much did it cost you? Any help/pointer from any forum user is greatly appreciated.
