Yeah, I got offered paint protectant, interior protectant, the side strips to prevent door dings, and a Lo Jack by the F&I person. All totaled the extra stuff would have been more than $2000. Turned it all down. She then tried to get me to buy the Lo Jack by knocking almost $500 off of the price! That says alot about the profit margin on the F&I offers. Still turned it down. Walked out of there with only the car. I will be doing the exterior and interior protectant work myself.

Hi! New owner of a 2010 Lexus IS 350 here. Obsidian/Ecru, Nav/XM, 18" wheels, HID/AFLS, Premium package value edition. Thus far I love the car. Great forums too. Through reading the forums I already learned and successfully tried the "press-the-lock-and-unlock-button-on-the-remote-for-4-seconds-to-toggle-between-opening-the-driver's-door-or-all-4-doors-when-touching-the-door-handle" trick. My remote won't roll down the windows and open the moonroof. Guess I can get that fixed at the 1,000 mile check at the dealer. Anyway, great to be here. BTW...someone needs to change the model year range for this forum. :D
