2000 RX300 AWD transmission ceased engagement in forward and reverse. When started cold I could get it to move a little. Repair shop says "the valve body won't hold pressure". I have noticed other posts suggesting cleaning the filter might help get some more miles out of the car. The car is not worth the price of a rebuilt transmission but if I can coax a little more life out of it by a simple cleaning I will. I really like the car but for the price of a rebuilt trans I can upgrade to a newer model.

Mirrors don't dim on my '02 SC430. One time in the last year they dimmed so I think it is intermittent (very intermittent). I usually rubber band a Mercedes mirror over the interior mirror but the outside mirrors I must aim away so headlights behind me aren't blinding. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot the dimming function?
