  1. Hi there. I'm sorry, but our software does not have translation abilities. Paul
  2. Hi there. You probably already know this, but you should check the fit of the tire to make sure it doesn't rub against the wheel well sides when turning corners. Pa
  3. No its not. Lexus is shown to be the most reliable car, above any other brand. Both Consumer Reports and JD Power make them no 1. However something like a water pump won't last forever. Be sure to ask your dealer why the part went bad, should this be expected with other parts and what parts have use limits . Paul
  4. Hi Michelle and welcome. My 2016 -ES 350 had a dial on the shift handle panel. You would turn it to Normal, Sport, or Economy. What ever the dial was set for when you shut the the car off, is the setting you would see when you start the car the next time. I haven't had much experience with the RCF so I don't feel comfortable with saying what is or isn't factual. My suggestion is to look through your owners manual and/or just give a dealer a call for an accurate answer. Paul
  5. Hot off the Press.....! Here is the new Consumer Reports video review on the new 7 seat 2018 RX 350. All things considered when it comes to"CR" it's a good report. Paul https://mail.aol.com/webmail-std/en-us/suite
  6. In USA, Lexus new car subscription plan. For one monthly payment Lexus provides vehicle insurance, all maintenance, and ability to change every 12 to 24 months. Check it out!! Paul https://lexusenthusiast.com/2018/03/26/lexus-usa-to-launch-vehicle-subscription-service/
  7. Hi Ahmed, You are in the right. This has been not a common problem but as you pointed out it is well known by anyone building cars. It becomes more interesting when you see there are other car makes that have the same problem. That makes me believe that there has to be a problem with the manufacturer of the glass. It is the only thing that makes sense. Good luck to you. Paul
  8. Hi Les, The seat cooling feature is always a head scratcher. On a couple of previous ES 350's I told the service writer at my dealer that my cool feature did not work. At this same time I had a Volvo 2007 S80 with the cooling feature as well. It got so cold you had to almost dial it off. Each time I went in to the dealer they said that they could not find anything wrong. Finally, I stumbled upon the solution. If you turn the temperature way down, say 65', and the fan on high with the cool setting. The seat will cool down quickly. Adjust the temperature to the desired setting. Paul
  9. Here is the new 2019 ES 350. Lexus has put some excellent features together. The sedan finally has an attitude and a more sport look. The 3.5 liter - 6 cyl remains the same as in past years. I have owned 4- ES 350's , all with the 3.5 engine. The power plant is bullet-proof. I've never had a wrench on one. 10. This is an amazing video about how they make the "Structural Blue" paint for the new LC 500. This is not your fathers "Paint by Number" set. Paul https://lexusenthusiast.com/2017/12/08/video-the-science-behind-lexus-structural-blue-paint/
  11. The LC 500 is one of two/three new cars being considered the worlds best. Read this article about the recognition from over 80 world wide auto journalist. Paul https://us.lexusownersclub.com/news/articles/lexus-lc-coupe-a-double-finalist-in-the-world-car-awards-r1
  12. Hi David, I'm guessing that your trouble is setting your seat, steering wheel height, and steering wheel column angle. There are 10 settings for the seat alone, In your manual you'll see the forward and backward setting, lumbar support, seat back position, seat cushion up and down. The adjustment for the steering wheel height is the most in need of upward movement. There are a crazy number of adjustments you can set to 'on' or 'off'. Take out your owners manual and sit in the car and have some fun. We love our RX. Paul
  13. Hi guys, When your posting a non-specific model question, you will probably find more information by posting it in the Club Lounge. Have a great spring. Paul
  14. Here is a new photo array of the new LF -1 Crossover which will apparently replace the RX. What I noticed was the selection of power plants that will be available. Gas, fuel cells?, all electric, and hybred. Paul https://lexusenthusiast.com/2018/01/15/introducing-the-lexus-lf-1-limitless-flagship-crossover-concept/
  15. Hi Danny, It might be that the mirror switch is toggled in the middle position. This turns off the up/down function for the mirror. Move the switch to either the left or right. This might fix your problem, Paul
  16. Thanks for the posting! We always like new information. Paul
  17. Hi Trevor, It feels like this market will remain fluid for sometime yet. In the US I think that one of the factors for this market are the need to meet ongoing mandates for pollution emission, fuel economy and safety regulations. I'm pleased that the major makes are taking the lead for these technical challenges. Here in Des Moines a few of the downtown parking ramps have installed just a few electrical charging stations. I wonder who will pick up the tab to install many more connections. Some time ago I read an article that said Hawaii had begun testing hydrogen fuel cell cars and the experience of recharging our changing empty cells at a retrofited Paul

  19. Hi Jeff and welcome. We look forward to hearing more from you. Paul
  20. Hi Neil, This is a new one! I would suggest going to the Toyota tech site, TIS.com. The site has very in depth tech information for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion. There are schematics, text, and pictures for every component. The charge is $15.00 for 48 hours of use. Let us know if you solve your question. Paul
  21. Hi Jags and welcome. Gene has some excellent advice. Your posts do not show your location so I will assume your asking about the USA. States have individual counties or Parishes and the County Treasurers office should show a record for each time the car was titled, licenses plate issued. I believe a service from the insurance industry or something like Car Fax may show any accidents or claims may have been shown per the vehicle ID or VIN number. It's easy to get excited when thinking of a new car. But, try to follow your needs and do the homework. Paul
  22. Lexus has announced they will not develop anymore hybrids. Instead, they will move directly to electric and fuel cell technology. This announcement follows with new Lexus models probably in the LS price bracket. I'm anxious to hear if there is any response from the German folks. I would imagine there will be a lot of questions from current hybrid owners. Read the article below. What do you think the future Lexus market will look like? Paul https://lexusenthusiast.com/2017/10/02/lexus-to-skip-plug-in-hybrids-move-directly-to-fuel-cell-and-full-electric-po
  23. Wow! I feel your pain! I have never heard of such strange cluster of symptoms. I wish I could offer more help. Paul
  24. This site predicts Lexus will bring out a whole new ES sedan next year with a possible sport version to follow. This is a break from tradition for Lexus as over the years the ES has always been revised every 5 years. The photo included shows a much more aggressive appearance with lines and angles putting a look of power from bow to stern. Tell us your thoughts. Paul https://lexusenthusiast.com/2017/09/29/rendered-the-next-generation-lexus-es-sedan/
  25. Hi Skippy and welcome. Most of the fuses are located on the left driver side kick panel and more located under the hood. on top of the drivers side fender. There is a large 140a fuse on top of the alternator. However, I can't recall ever hearing of the alternator fuse tacking out all of the electric system. Try going to an Auto Zone store and have them read out the codes. They do this for free. Paul
