2004 Es330 - gas and transmission relation is there any? since I moved to 91 I cant feel any transmission related issue like lag etc. Shifting is smoother. But I am also driving in 4th gear. I dont use D anymore

my 2004 es330 manual says to use 87 I am surprised everybody mentioned the manual says 91.

02-06 Transmission hesitation problems

Driving in 4th gear (just left of D) solves the problem. As per dealer always drive in 4th gear.
