  1. I have a 93 GS300 that I am about to start building. The 2jz-gte swap is a doable swap. You would want to change over to the 6 speed manual tranny from a Supra as well. The stock AT tranny that is in there now will be good for around 400hp. With the 2jz-gte sitting around 320hp stock so if you mod it at all your gonna be pushing the limits of the tranny. On top of that im not even sure that the AT tranny will match up with is as I never thought about it, Im just going the 6speed Manual from the start. You can do the 5 speed manual tranny from earlier supras, however it is a more extensive swap then the 6 speed as the 6 bolts directly up with very little mods needed other then the clultch pedal install and the master cylinder and what not. Most expensive stuff is gonna be the motor and tranny 6 speed trannys are dumb in price used between 3k and 4k. motors arent to bad 1200-1600. other stuff is odds and ends crap but it will add up fast.
  2. Im in Northern Louisiana and would be willing to make road trip whenever..(roadtrips are the awesomeness)
  3. Hard to explain the part needed but it is the outer trim on the driver door. The piece that goes around the outside of the window....Mine looks as though someone tried to steal the car at one time or another.(just bought the car) 1993 Lexus Gs300 Thanks
  4. just to clear up the hydro vs airbag debate. (I have been a minitruck builder for years and have dealt with both setups, with several trucks published) Hydros DO NOT need 12 Batteries. They can easily be ran on 2 or 3 at the most for smaller applications. (still a lot for a car though) They do ride rough if not done properly. There are acummulators you can buy that soften the ride. (I am in no way telling you that Hydros are better for the application that you are looking for cause they are not, I just simply want to clarify) Bags are gonna be a lot softer ride. With new technology they can be just as fast and effective as Hydros. Still need Compressors and such so your gonna need mounting room. VIP is like previously posted gonna be the Coilover setups. They do make these with bags now. (little more expensive and will cost a little more for maintenance).
  5. you cant just tap into some of the speaker wires and connect them to the led light? Speaker wires do not carry power...(not in the amounts to power anything up). If I am thinking of the same set. StreetGlow made a set that had a sensor on it that went with the bass frequencies. No need to hook it up to audio wires you had to set it to pick up vibrations of the bass.
